Injury and loss of players are a part of the game. Whether the player gets hurt during pre-season or during the last play of the year, any injury can be detrimental for a team’s success. This week we quickly found out about players on the Ohio State Football Rooster being suspended for misconduct and injury. One of the players, Joey Bosa has played a large part in the OSU successful season last year and is now benched for the first game of the year against Virginia Tech. Do you think consequences should be more severe for off the field misconduct? With harsher punishments for violators, do you think that would decrease the amount of violations for both collegiate and professional athletes? How teams recover from crucial losses such as this? Does this change the game day plan? As a coach and teammate, how do you handle playing time and responsibilities when that player returns?
